nearmiss-report.org - Traffic safety

Promotion

I have created this section of the web site to enlist your help with a promotional effort that can maximize the number of people who learn about this online near-miss reporting system.

Donation of your time and/or money can help a great deal on both local and national fronts. Learn more by following the below links.

1.  Help inform people in your community.

  • Email your friends and neighbors: This type of "viral marketing" can produce an exponential increase in the number of people who learn about this web site.
  • Bumper sticker promotion: Put it on your car bumper (or any other place lots of people will see it).

    2.  Send your testimonial to those who have been asked to provide an endorsement of this near-miss reporting system.

  • Non-profit organizations: There are many non-governmental groups for which traffic safety is a primary mission (e.g., MADD).
  • State and federal legislators: Elected representatives and senators who have sponsored traffic safety legislation.
  • Government agencies: State and U.S. Department of Transportation offices that are charged with promoting highway safety.

    3.  Send your testimonial to the media with email addresses provided by me.   Click here for the details

    4.  Help make web advertising possible.

  • Volunteers and cash needed! "In-kind" contributions are needed for "creative" and graphics work, as well as donations that will pay for banner placements on the most popular web sites.
