An appeal to email your friends, family and neighbors about this web site has been called "viral marketing," because the manner in which news about this web site spreads is analogous to the spread of a virus. That is, if each person emails two people, and each of these people eventually emails two people, and each of these people does the same, etc., the result is many thousands of people who learn about the site... and with little effort by any one person.
Will this approach work?
I believe it will. It can be driven by a realization that the more people in a given community who learn about the benefits of this near-miss reporting system, the safer the roads can be for everyone.
There is only one way to know, and that is to try it!
So when you get a chance, send off a quick couple emails to friends in your community... and maybe especially to those with influence on a young driver, for whom this near-miss reporting system may be most valuable.
Thanks very much, Jeff
